Biography

Léna DIOP WATT is a specialist in the "Training and vocational integration of young people" programme at the Dakar-based Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Education et la Formation (IFEF), a subsidiary body of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

For the past ten years, she has been involved with the OIF in developing technical and vocational training to facilitate integration into the world of work in the French-speaking world.

Since 2019, the IFEF's activities have focused more on the development of a digital platform designed to measure the external effectiveness of training schemes (the Inserjeune platform) and on the development of in-house expertise in French-speaking countries to improve the implementation and dissemination of the Competency-Based Approach (CBA). This is because the quality of the programmes designed corresponds adequately to the needs of businesses, which are closely involved in the exercise of designing training content.
