Kevin Sherman

Biography

Since 1990, Kevin Sherman has trained teachers to use technology in teaching, learning, and school management. He has taught secondary English and History, and has served as Head of Department and Curriculum Advisor.  Throughout the 1990s, Kevin taught as an adjunct faculty member in teacher education at Seattle University, the University of Washington, and Seattle Pacific University. From late 2009–2012, Kevin served as the ICT-Integration Education Specialist at the University of Cape Town’s Schools Development Unit. While at UCT, he conducted research on barriers to the adoption of educational technology by South African educators. Since 2015, he has served as the Director of Professional Development for CloudEDU (South Africa). He now specializes in helping schools and HEIs develop programs and transform practices to foster innovative teaching and learning strategies. Kevin is a Google Certified Innovator and holds two degrees from Stanford University: a B.A. in History and Psychology, and a Masters in Education.
