Biography
John Thöle is a founding member of Edunova in the UK and in South Africa. He is a qualified teacher and was Head of ICT at schools in South Africa and in the UK. John’s focus has been on the leadership and management of ICT and, in this respect, John works closely with Principals and Senior Strategic teams to ensure the professional implementation of ICT. He has also had key roles in the selection and procurement of ICT infrastructure and the project management of large scale ICT deployments.
Whilst at Edunova in the UK (10 years), John had leadership responsibility for:
- Developing ICT Strategies for the City Academies
- ICT Consultancy Programmes
- Building Schools for the Future programme
John returned to South Africa in 2004 and setup Edunova as a non-profit organisation working strategically and operationally on projects in disadvantaged communities around South Africa.
