Biography
Jan-G. Groeneveld is an international project and program manager with over 20 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked with global players and fast-growing start-ups alike, spent over 10 years in Silicon Valley and currently leads the eLearning platform atingi.
Jan's passion and expertise are the development and implementation of highly scalable solutions that always put the user on centre stage. Under his leadership, atingi has attracted over 400.000 learners in only 2 years, predominantly from the African continent. In tight collaboration with partners like the Smart Africa Digital Academy and UNICEF, Jan and his team aim to take atingi to the next level, with a rigorous focus on technical innovations and relevant, quality-assured learning content.
atingi is a project implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
