Biography
Haji Ali is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the State University of Zanzibar. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His Master Degree in Mobile Computer Systems from Staffordshire University, UK and Bachelor degree in Computer Science (Hon), he undertaken in the Department of Computer Science at the Future University (formerly the Computer Man College), Sudan. Haji teaches various undergraduate courses including, mobile applications development, artificial intelligence, geographic information system, database management system and programming languages. His research based on the Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D), specifically in mobile health and education. Other areas of interest are human computer interaction, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
