Biography
Gordon Slaven is founder and director of Slaven Consultancy Services Ltd., whose current work focuses on international education policy and technical innovation, and access to education for displaced people and refugees. He has over 30 years experience in international education in the British Council, most recently as Global Head of Higher Education and Education Services. This role covered the British Council’s international work in higher education policy and partnerships (including research, teaching, and leadership collaboration), as well as responsiblity for research into, and marketing of, international and transnational education. He has worked in China, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, and Zambia, and undertaken short term assignments in a number of other countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
