Biography
Dr. Esther N. Kiaritha is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology at Moi University in the areas of Educational Psychology, Special Needs Education, Psychotherapy and Educational Research. She has a PhD and Masters in Educational Psychology and has over fourteen years teaching experience at University level. She is a sign language experts with over 10 years experience in interpretation. She has supervised several students in research process and thesis writing and has published widely with three books one book chapter and over 30 journal articles in applied Psychology. Among her educational and research interests is Education in Emergencies especially for refugees and displaced persons, and is a member of the African Higher Education in Emergencies Network (AHEEN), advocating for Education and Psychosocial support for Refugees.
