Biography
David B. McGinty serves as Director of Public Private Partnerships at World Vision, a global humanitarian, development, and advocacy INGO working in 96 countries through 44,000 employees. Mr. McGinty leads a strategic investment made by World Vision's senior leaders to enhance and support its global market-led development PPPs and capacity in PPP deal brokering.
World Vision and Mr. McGinty's work in eLearning cuts across many sectors and levels, from global alliances to service devilery--including partnerships with numerous Ministries of Health and Education, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Grameen Foundation, USAID, AusAid, Microsoft, British Council, numerous telcos and global organizations such as GSMA and ITU. World Vision's eLearning portfolio includes mHealth programs in 16 countries, membership in the mEducation Alliance (where Mr. McGinty serves on the Steering Committee), All Children Reading, and the mHealth Alliance. With its partners, World Vision has development and rolled out custom mobile-based technologies, including Shell Books and Last Mile Mobile Solutions (LMMS).
