Biography
My research broadly lies at the intersection of Foreign Language Education (German and French) & Instructional Design and Technology. It is focused on Language Education, Computer Supported Collaborative Learning, Instructional Design and Online Tutor Education.
I became familiar with these research and teaching areas during my doctoral study in German as Foreign Language and Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich/ Germany. I attended the interdisciplinary Doctoral Training Program in the Learning Sciences at the same university. Doctoral thesis: Evaluation von eLernprozessen. Eine empirische Untersuchung am Beispiel des Einsatzes kognitionsbasierter Grammatikanimationen zum kollaborativen Lernen der deutschen Grammatik in virtuellen Klassen.
In addition, I worked as Online Tutor, Research assistant and Instructional Designer of online learning modules (Analysis and design of conceptual frameworks, Modules development and implementation in an online and blended learning environment, eLearning Instructional Design Evaluation).
