Biography

Brian is the initiator of the ‘Serve Ourselves’ project which focuses on championing the use of technology in education for deprived children. At Serve Ourselves, Brian ensures that deprived children based in remote areas have access to lessons at no cost. Technologies used include web-based services, bulk sms and recorded sessions which connect teachers and deliver lessons.

Brian has served as a teacher, education institutions leader and a board member. He has passion in teaching, community service; he serves as an examinations assessor for national and international bodies. He has just authored a book for parents, giving them systematic instructions on educating their children. Brian is an IS professional, computer programmer, data analyst, community worker and educator with qualifications in Computer Science, Early Childhood Education (Education Sector Planning with IIEP-UNESCO), Educational Institutions Management, Child Protection and Data Analysis.
