Biography
Babacar Diop is a young entrepreneur from the Thies region who focuses on solving education-related problems in Senegal. He was part of the first cohort of the YALI Dakar program at the Dakar Regional Leadership Center in 2016.
He works on the Boost With Facebook program, a Facebook program that aims to support small businesses on digital marketing.
Babacar is co-founder of mJangale https://www.mJangale.com , a coding school that offers various affordable, interactive, face-to-face, online and hybrid courses, as well as educational kits and mobile applications to inspire, prepare and build the skills of young Senegalese (and Africans) for studies and careers in technology.
He devotes his time to the implementation of mJangale's digital trainings. He has already trained more than 5,000 youth in the 14 regions of Senegal, 58% of whom are girls.
