Biography

A senior executive manager with more than 15 years experiences in Human Resources Management and very customer oriented person, Andry RATSIMBASON started his professional career in retailing business within the south africa based company SHOPRITE CHECKERS which is currently the largest chain of supermarkets in Africa. He spent 7 years to handle the people management and helped the organization to build it leadership in the middle income market in Madagascar.

Andry started his telecom adventure in 2009 by joining ZAIN Telecommunication still in his own country to be in charge on talent acquisition and development before to take care of various HR tranformation projects such as PMS culture building, outsourcing and regional L&D programs . As Bharti Airtel took over from all the african ZAIN operations 2 years later, he has work intensively on the culture rebranding and the total integration of the Airtel ways of working as Senior HR Operations Manager before to be promoted as Hr Director. he succeeded to deploy smoothly without any resistance the complete outsourcing of the network, IT and Call Centers activities to global partners such as Nokia and IBM.

His experience and skills in HR strategy design and change management brought him to various Airtel operations like Kenya, Uganda and Republic of Congo to lead some merger and acquisition operations handling the HR piece. he is now based in Rwanda to manage the recent acquisition of the Millicom Group operation Tigo Rwanda which Airtel has acquired in january this year. After a smooth and successful organizational restructuration, the company has become now a strong and inspired organization to win the market.
